Scoring & Trophies
Rules
All races will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing and by the Sailing Instructions.
Ratings
Classic yachts will be rated according to the Classic Rating Formula (CRF). If you do not have a rating, please contact us, and we will send you information to obtain a rating certificate. Races will be scored on the basis of corrected time.
Racing Divisons
Depending on the number of yachts which enter, the fleet may be divided into multiple Racing Divisions. The Divisions will be established in an effort to have yachts of similar size, age and ability sail against each other. Information on the number of current entries and Divisions will be posted on the Participating Yachts page.
Prizes
Separate prizes will be awarded for each race. The Prize Giving will be during the social event each evening. In addition, to individual race prizes, cumulative scores will be kept and prizes awarded to the “Overall Racing Champions.” A special “Overall Regatta Prize” will be voted on by all yachts and an award presented to one yacht.
